Peta-Maree Ashford is a Director at Emerge. Graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1998, her experience includes numerous metro and regional projects such as Morawa Town Centre Revitalisation, Busselton Foreshore Upgrade and Meekatharra Women’s Refuge. Notably, she was the Principal Landscape Architect for the UDIA State and National award winning Osprey Waters Development for Mirvac.

Her passion, innovation and attention to detail, combined with her understanding of the technical aspects and practicalities of landscape construction, has culminated in the successful design and subsequent implementation of numerous urban, regional and greenfield projects in Western Australia.

Peta-Maree returned to the Emerge Perth office in 2012 after pioneering and managing the South West office over a 5 year period. Her current role at Emerge extends to Manager of Landscape and Shared Services, as well as maintaining and overseeing the company’s financial stability. As a leader, she has played a key role in facilitating the career growth and goal setting of her staff using her experience, contacts, knowledge and advice for their benefit.

In 2016 Peta-Maree was shortlisted for the Inaugural UDIA Women in Leadership Award and was recognised by her institute with a Fellowship award in 2017.
