The redevelopment of the northeast precinct in the Claremont Town Centre will bring significant commercial and residential benefits to the local area. This project is a high profile Transit Oriented Development (TOD) being located adjacent to the Claremont Rail station, Stirling Highway bus route and the existing western suburbs cycle network.
The redevelopment seeks to extend the Town Centre north of the existing rail line which currently divides Claremont in two. Centred around the existing Claremont Football ground this project will provide a range of high density living options within the Western suburbs, set in attractive open space surrounds including the retention of an improved fully functioning football club.
Emerge Associates, as part of the project team, have been in close consultation with the major Stakeholders, Landcorp, the Town of Claremont, the Claremont Football Club, the Dept. of Transport, Police Citizens and Youth Club and the existing town centre traders, to ensure that innovative design solutions maximise benefits without adversely impacting on adjacent residents. Impacts such as views, traffic, convenience and amenity have all been considered and designed for.
