We are extremely proud to announce our own Peta-Maree Ashford (PMA) was recently elected onto the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) National Board.

PMA is a director, part owner and manager of the Emerge Associates Landscape business.

She is passionate about her profession regularly supporting the industry through member platforms such as, AILA award taskforces and advisory round tables and UDIA, Property Council and Parks and Leisure award committees and taskforces.

PMA has a strong connection with community providing probono works for not for profits and mentoring through the UWA Student mentor program. PMA and her team are currently volunteering their time providing a unique landscape design for the Meekatharra Women’s Refuge.

As part of the AILA Board, PMA will  provide a Western Australian conduit to a national platform, “I will continue to be a national voice for all our members in both Government and Private practice”.

The AILA Board retains legal responsibility for the AILA organisation and provides leadership by setting the strategic agenda, budgets, policies and performance targets.

We are very excited for Peta-Maree and her achievement. Congratulations!
