Emerge Associates has worked with the AMEX Corporation since 2007 to deliver the client’s vision of a high quality, multi stage residential subdivision.

The multi-disciplinary Emerge Associates team has worked closely with other consultants to successfully address matters including the integration and revegetation of a Resource Enhancement Wetland and the buffer to a Conservation Category Wetland (within a Western Power easement).   Bushfire hazards have been mitigated through design, considering the management and built form responses, noise impacts from the Kwinana Freeway, the identification and treatment of acid-sulphate soils during civil works phases, consideration (and where required management) of potential contamination from historic rural land uses, and drainage solutions that are sensitive to the constraints of the site whilst maximising the usability of open space areas.

The Emerge team were able to work with the client and project team to help inform design during scheme amendment, local structure planning and subdivision to locate areas of open space in a way that enabled mature Tuarts to be retained.  The Tuarts and the shade and amenity they provide are a popular feature with the client and the new community. The design and construction supervision of the parks was undertaken by Emerge Associates, producing parks with a distinct local character that reflect the rural roots of the site. The Stage 1 parks feature salvaged timber sculptures and fencing and extensive shade from the remnant Tuarts.
