Congratulations to those involved with the development of the much anticipated Design WA Stage One, officially Released Monday at a luncheon co-hosted by Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) and WAPC.

This release saw new guidelines released which endeavour to ensure good quality design will remain at the heart of all development. New policy will embrace natural light, tree retention, quality open space and the capturing of local character.

Emerge Associates were delighted to attend the launch and hear first-hand from the Minister of Planning detailing the ten universal design principles to be built into the planning system.
